Microsoft launches affordable Lumia 430 Dual SIM smartphone
Microsoft has added a new model to its affordable range of Lumia smartphones with the introduction of the Lumia 430 Dual SIM.
Featuring the latest Windows Phone 8.1 software, the phone will retail for an estimated price of $70 (approximately Rs 4,400) making it the most affordable Lumia that will be able to upgrade to Windows 10.
The device sports a 4-inch WVGA LCD display with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution. It offers a pixel density of 235ppi. It also features a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with a dual-core CPU running at 1.2GHz, and comes with Microsoft Office, Skype and OneDrive pre-loaded. It is paired with 1GB RAM.
In terms of memory, it has an internal storage at 8GB and can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It has a 2MP fixed-focus rear camera along with a 0.3MP front facing camera. The handset is powered by a 1,500mAh replaceable battery.
Set to come in orange or black, the Lumia 430 Dual SIM will launch in select markets in the Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus from April 2015, and in India toward the end of April 2015.
